Electrical Installation Department
The course contains a significant
amount of practical work, the
quality of which is examined in
the students’ final exams. These
pictures show students learning
how to wire a house, including
distribution board, lights, multi-
way switches and sockets.
The Electricals Department trains
electricians to install domestic and
industrial electrical installations safely
and reliably. As well as the more
traditional mains-based installation, they
also learn about solar panels, batteries
and renewable energy technologies.
